Creating a complex network of movements connected in time and space, Thomas Hauert's choreographic language can be seen as a continuation of the abstract dance tradition and yet polyphonic writing comes to life on stage exclusively through improvisation.
The template for You've changed is an improvised choreography that unfurls without interference from a central authority. The dancers are responsible for the invention and the execution of their movements on stage as well as the group structures. The dancers must adapt their individual role in a dynamic constellation with continually transforming mechanisms. And, just like during a real conversation, they can never return to the point where they started...
